The Championship
Awards
The Himalayan Sustainability Championship empowers schools to engage students in tackling campus waste and sustainability challenges, fostering environmental leadership and guiding them toward becoming zero-waste campuses. The Championship is proudly supported by Royal Enfield and the Eicher Group Foundation.
Overview
Schools are invited to form dedicated teams of up to 5 students from classes 2nd through 12th, working under the mentorship of a teacher coordinator. The team will undertake a comprehensive set of 10 thoughtfully designed activities that encompass field studies, brainstorming sessions, observation, citizen science, and artistic expression. These activities focus on practical waste management solutions—such as waste segregation, recycling, composting, and creating eco-bricks—equipping students with real-world skills to handle and reduce waste effectively within their school campus.
