Wildlife Week 2022
To mark the occasion of Wildlife Week'22, 2 shorts films produced by NSI with support from JBGVS-Bajaj Auto were released by Mr. Rajiv Bhartari, Chairman, Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board. The first film 'A Day in Dehradun Zoo' outlines a child's visit to Dehradun Zoo - getting to know the Zoo's inhabitants and the people behind it. The second film 'Musibat Ki Polti' introduces children to the waste crisis and its solutions. For the launch, both films were screened at Govt. Primary School Vani Vihar, Dehradun. To celebrate Wildlife Week'22 the films were screened across 120+ govt schools partaking in the Nature Vidya programme across 4 districts of Uttarakhand.

Wildlife Week 2021
Nature Science Initiative in collaboration with the Uttarakhand forest department celebrated wildlife week from 2-8 October 2021. Students in government schools from Dehradun-Mussoorie, Haridwar and Nainital districts participated in the program. Students were exposed to nature education through engaging activities, films and nature walks.
